The biggest floating boat show in Norway ever!
The Norwegian International in-water boat show Båter i sjøen
September 8. - 11. 2005,
at Kadettangen Sandvika near Oslo, Norway
The Norwegian International in-water Boat Show sets yet another record. No one thought it would be possible after last year’s record to grow even further, but this year’s show is substantially larger than the 2004 show. There was around 340 boats last year, compared to this year’s almost 500, an increase of nearly 45%. More than 1,200 meters of docks will be put in the water to facilitate the show, and it’s only for four days.
- Nearly 500 boats
- More than 1.200 meters of docks
- 60 land stands
- Several premiers
- 40 boats of more than 13 meter length (42 feet)
- Ca. 80 sailboats
The docks are impressive, 1,200 meters long, 17,000 flotation devices, and more than 110 metric tons of moorings, and 5,000 meters of ropes and chains. All build for a four day boat show!
